Duties & responsibilities
Introduce credit card product to the market and increase its popularity.
Build and present a comprehensive business case for the credit card product
Perform a comprehensive financial analysis to calculate the cost structure and establish the breakeven analysis for the credit card offering.
Project and track the expected credit cards issued, as well as assess their ongoing performance
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory requirements related to credit cards
Research and explore ancillary products that can be associated with the company's credit cards
Investigate loyalty programs that can be introduced to enhance customer experience and retain their loyalty
Develop and implement strategies to increase credit card usage and penetration
Monitor and analyze the performance of the credit card portfolio to identify areas of improvement
Work with service providers to resolve any customer issues related to credit cards
Foster relationships with key stakeholders such as service providers and merchants
Collaborate with internal departments such as marketing, risk management, and customer service to ensure seamless delivery of credit card services
Develop and maintain effective partnerships with key merchants and vendors to increase credit card usage and acceptance
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper training and support are provided to employees handling credit card services
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to credit card operations.
degree in finance, business, or related field
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the banking industry with a focus on credit cards
Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
Experience in the credit card industry is a plus
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Strong leadership and team management skills
Ability to develop and deliver presentations to a variety of audiences
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
