About theOpportunity.
RI has recentlyentered into a partnership with Takeda Pharmaceuticals, toimplement a four-year project medical supply chain project. Thisproject will focus on building the capacity of 20 localpharmaceutical and medical device suppliers in four countries whereRelief International (RI) has existing programming: Afghanistan,Yemen, Myanmar, and Syria.
Providing technicalleadership, the project Pharmacy Manager working in closecollaboration with the Project Director and project Supply ChainManager, will support activities of the projectdeliverables.
Your responsibilities willbe
· Be part of thecore Takeda project team.
· Ownershipfor project objectives
· Ensuringproject objectives are met through close collaboration with andmanaging the country project teams and sub-contractors in the 4countries
· Lead on national healthstakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for the project and itssustainability post project (medical regulatory authority, ministryof health, pharmacy associations, public sector medical procurementdepartments).
· Work with nationalpeer health stakeholders to ensure their understanding, andengagement / support for the project (iNGOs, Health Clusters, aidmanagement partners, UNstakeholders.
· Reach out to otheriNGOs active in the project countries to harmonize productportfolios, and develop support for qualitystandards
· Champion the RI databasefor medical products including the RI Medical Supply List (MSL),manufacturers, distributors to include relevant quality data aboutproducts and suppliers
· Help theSupply Chain and Procurement Coordinator on sourcing and verifyingmedical assurance quality certificates with local suppliers toenable RI to conduct and improve local medical supplyprocurement
· Support sub-contractoractivities as agreed in the sub-contractor agreement, andCollaborating with the Pharmacy advisor, lead in conducting regularreviews and assessments of sub-contractor work and progress andproviding inputs into requiredreports
· Contribute to the selectionof local suppliers and the execution of the capacity building plansin the target countries

AboutYou.
You will bring the following experience andskills.
· A Masters orBachelor’s degree or higher in pharmacy or a relatedfield, OR equivalent workingexperience.
· Proven experience indealing with multiple stakeholders in challenging environments, andworking with large medical supply components in complex contexts,indonor driven, humanitarian markets
·Track record in project progress monitoring, tracking andreporting, qualitative andquantitative
· Knowledge of donor andother international medical quality assurance standards, and skillswith host country institutions, and internationalorganizations.
· Comprehensiveunderstanding of medical product quality assurancecertification
· Demonstratedexperience in coordinating programs with a technical scope similarto the activity, especially focusing on medical procurement& supply chain.
· Ability tospeak and communicate effectively, and to tailor messages todifferent audiences.
· Being able tosuccessfully operate in an international environment with peoplefrom diverse backgrounds, cultures, and technicalareas.
